Kara Shuler is a public sector consulting leader at Slalom, Inc. overseeing the portfolio of services the consulting firm provides to government, education, and non-profit organizations in the mountain west. As a Colorado native who benefitted from youth leadership programs in high school and dedicated her academic studies to understanding complex social systems as a Sociology major at Bates College, Kara is passionate about the mission and impact of Colorado Youth Congress. She brings her servant leader mindset and dot-connecting skillset to her role on the CYC Board. When she is not at work or volunteering, Kara strives to keep up with her two young sons and golden retriever puppy. She and her husband, Andy, relocated from Washington, DC back to Colorado during the pandemic to be closer to family, friends, and the mountains.
